Abstract

The study explores the representations that are constructed on the new infantile subjectivities and his relations with the audiovisual means of communication. In this frame the representations are interrogated on the new infancies centring on the cinema as circuit of production and circulation of these representations. The study is qualitative-interpretive and the methodological tools are interviews and focal groups. The finds present two positions: those who feel that the infancy is being threatened and they react defending her and protecting her; and those who assume these changes as a challenge to know the new possibilities of sociability and of be constructing as subject. Equally, debates appear on the regulation of the audio-visual offer and the literacy in audio-visual means.
