Abstract

Psychologists familiar with the field of psychological evaluation through tests recognize the importance of being able to have norms obtained in our reality to use a psychological instrument properly. When a study of this type is not available, one would have to accept interpreting the results of the tests either with norms that belong to other countries or other cultures - which from the scientific point of view is based on a series of assumptions that most of the time they are not met - or consider these results in a more clinical way, for which many instruments are not amenable, apart from other difficulties that can arise with this type of approach.
